All fractals on FractalArt — including images, wallpapers, and exports — are released under the CC0 1.0 Universal (Public Domain Dedication). This means:
- Personal, educational, and commercial use are all permitted
- No attribution or credit is required
- No royalties, fees, or licensing agreements are needed
- Anyone may use, copy, modify, or redistribute any fractal from FractalArt for any purpose
By publishing a fractal, you explicitly agree to dedicate your creation to the public domain under CC0. This means anyone may use your published fractal — including for commercial purposes — without restriction and without crediting you.
Fractals in your private gallery are only visible to you. The permissive license takes effect when you choose to publish a fractal.
FractalArt retains ownership of the underlying software, application code, and user interface. The L-System algorithms and mathematical formulas are based on established mathematical principles.
