• Your username is publicly visible on fractals you publish

You can use the fractal editor without an account. Registration is only required to save fractals to your gallery or publish them to the community.

FractalArt uses minimal browser storage to enhance your experience:

• Session cookies for maintaining your login state
• Analytics cookies to understand usage patterns (anonymized)

You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve FractalArt:

All fractals on FractalArt — including wallpapers and exports — are released under the CC0 1.0 Universal (Public Domain Dedication):

• Personal, educational, and commercial use are all permitted

When you publish a fractal, you explicitly agree that your creation is dedicated to the public domain under CC0. Anyone may use, copy, modify, or distribute your published fractal for any purpose without restriction. This applies to all published fractal images including wallpaper downloads.

Fractals in your private gallery are only visible to you and are not subject to this license until published.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• HTTPS encryption for all communications
• Passwords stored as secure hashes (never in plain text)
• Regular security updates and monitoring
• Server-side protections against common attacks

FractalArt uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudinary — image storage and CDN for fractal images
